Misty Morning

We get a lot of fog and mist this time of year and I love painting atmospheric conditions, so here is another misty watercolor. I'm feeling really pleased because I was notified that I had two paintings accepted in a juried exhibition for the Marin Society of Artists show - running through July-August - titled Land and Sea.

  8. Jean, first thanks for the comment on my drawing.. I absolutely love your misty painting. . It makes me wish for my days back in Fremont ...I came back (Florida) for family and now they are gone. I still can imagine the fog rolling in over those cypress trees.

  18. Jean, this is soft and quietyly beautiful. You are producing a significant body of work. Congratulations on getting into the juried show -- well deserved.

I just coordinated a workshop by Tom Fong and he mentioned your instructor, Jerry. Tom paints wet, loose, and spontaneous. I learned a lot from him.
